It's time to make the lives of the accountants in your organisation easier with the Accounting Exporter for SugarCRM!
Problem
How do you easily migrate sales data from SugarCRM into your accounting system so that what is invoiced matches what was quoted?
Often, companies will have a software system dedicated for accounting purposes, such as MYOB. It can be difficult to accurately migrate data from SugarCRM into such accounting systems to allow invoices to be generated and issued that match the products and services that were originally quoted. Accountants often need to manually lookup each Quote in SugarCRM that is ready to be invoiced and re-create it as an invoice in the accounting software. This leads to delays in getting invoices to customers and potentially mistakes being made in moving the data by hand.
Solution!
Think about how happy your company is when the accountants are happy... The wheels and cogs just seem to move that much smoother.
The Accounting Exporter for Sugar Professional and Sugar Enterprise means that accountants can easily export all recent sales activity that needs to be invoiced from Sugar into a configurable CSV1 file. This file can then easily be imported into any compatible accounting software to automatically generate accurate sales data.
Imagine being able to quickly and easily migrate many many sales records from SugarCRM into any compatible accounting program!
How it Works
Sales representatives work on Opportunity records in Sugar and create one or more Quote records as options to provide to the customer. Once the customer agrees to a Quote, the sales representative changes the status on the accepted Quote to 'Closed Accepted'.
The Accountant logs in to Sugar and goes to the Accounting tab. A single button will post all Quotes that have been marked as 'Closed Accepted' since the last time this process was completed. The Accountant then simply clicks Download to retrieve all sales data based on the selected Currency and export template. The resulting file that is downloaded can be imported into the accounting software.
